Steamed Salmon With Lemon

Equipment

  • Steam Rack

Ingredients

  • 1 lb coho salmon wild caught
  • ½ tbsp soy sauce shoyu, lower sodium
  • tsp white pepper
  • 2 scallions medium, cut into 4" pieces
  • 2 tsp ginger root
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • tsp sea salt just a pinch

Instructions

  • Place the fish in a bowl and drizzle with soy sauce, salt and pepper.
  • Sprinkle with scallions and ginger.
  • Cut the lemon in half.
  • Cut one half into 4 slices and put them on the fish.
  • Juice the other lemon halves and drizzle over the fish.

STEAMER

  • Set up your steamer.
  • Put the bowl with the fish on the steamer rack, cover and steam for 8-10 minutes.
  • Steam until fish flakes to the fork.

SERVING

  • Remove the fish and drizzle sesame oil over the fish.
  • Serve and enjoy.
