Ingredients
- 1 cup sesame seed whole, dried
- 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
Instructions
- You can toast the raw sesame seeds for a nuttier flavor.
- In a skillet over medium heat toast until lightly colored and fragrant – 5 minutes or in an oven at 350 degrees.
- Let seeds completely cool.
- Place in a food processor.
- Grind the seeds about 2-3 minutes until a crumbly paste.
- Add oil and process another 1-2 minutes until a thick paste.
- Add more oil if needed.
- Store in refrigerator up to a month or longer.
